The reason for price increase is three fold:


1. The original core sets were way underpriced. U profitably underpriced in the end. The 4 player for example should have been $135 by any reasonable business standard.

2. Materials costs have gone up quite dramatically in particular our plastic, cardboard and labor costs. About 35% increase on average.

3. In the 4 player bundle compared to the 1st edition Core Set There are now a lot more components, for example 2 additional map boards, quadruple the dice, a set of vehicle health dice, more CP cubes, additional storage trays, a new round of stretch rewards, more commanders etc...

These three factors combined are what set the price. The margins remain extremely thin as we try to stuff the products with as much as we can :)
